Events

I am an experienced guest speaker and I regularly give illustrated talks and presentations to a wide range of audiences including camera clubs, wildlife interest groups, festivals, events and to just about anybody who is interested!

In the past, I have presented photography talks at Sheffield Halam University, Cumbria University, WWT Martin Mere, Edinburgh Photographic Society, Great North Museum: Hancock and many more.

Over the last couple of years while events have been limited due to lockdowns and social distancing measures, I have done a number of talks via Zoom and Facebook Live with FUJIFILM UK, Park Cameras and Ffordes Photographic.

If you’d like to discuss a possible event, please feel free to contact me.

Here is my current schedule of arranged talks. Please contact the event location if you wish to attend as a visitor / guest.

North West Bird Watching Festival 16th & 17th October

On Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October, I’ll be at WWT Martin Mere for their 2021 North West Bird Watching Festival. This will be my third appearance at this fantastic event!

On the Saturday afternoon, I will be joined by my Seabirds in the City colleague Dr. Helen Wilson in the lecture theatre to talk about the background to the documentary film. We’ll also be showing some photographs taken during the filming.

Furthermore, I’m delighted to announce that we will also be premiering the trailer for the film!

On Sunday I’ll be leading some photography workshops around the reserve. Full details are available via the Martin Mere North West Bird Watching Festival website.
