I’ve just returned to the UK after spending some time in the Greater Kruger area of South Africa. I’ve got lots of blogs, articles, photographs and videos in the pipeline covering my time working with African Impact, Kinyonga Reptile Centre, The Black Mambas Anti-Poaching Unit, Maputha Ditshaba School and leading a Penda Photo Tours safari at the fantastic Djuma Reserve in Sabi Sands.
During our time in Djuma our group experienced some fantastic leopard encounters with Karula and her two cubs Xongile (male) and Hosana (female). This photograph of Hosana resting in a tree was taken on one of our many morning drives. Seeing a leopard like this is wildlife photography heaven! But, just as we thought things couldn’t get better we received word of a pack of 15 wild dogs heading our way….. Lots more to come!
