Paramo manufacture high quality and lightweight outdoor clothing designed for comfort, functionality and protection in harsh weather conditions. Their ethical and sustainable approach fits in with my own ethos. 80% of Paramo’s manufacturing is carried out in partnership with the Miquelina Foundation in Bogotá, Colombia. This partnership gives valuable opportunities for vulnerable people – women at risk of prostitution and drugs are offered training and employment, homes and childcare. Paramo have very kindly provided me with a ‘Paramo Image Pro’ card for their professional user scheme.
African Impact are award winning pioneers in the volunteer travel industry. They offer expertise in responsible volunteering and internships for teaching, medicine, veterinary, human rights, child care and many more in eleven African countries. In 2017 I had the pleasure of working alongside African Impact’s South African base on their wildlife & conservation photography project. I’m looking forward to returning in 2018 and establishing longer term links and partnerships with their amazing team.
Uniqball kindly provided me with two of their revolutionary ball heads to evaluate and review in 2017. I’ve used them throughout 2017 in a variety of settings with a range of photographic equipment and I’m ready to write a full review (coming soon!). In short, they are an incredibly versatile, lightweight and functional tripod head which is ideal for wildlife photography. In 2015 Uniqball were awarded the ‘Best Accessory’ by the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA)

Serenity Farne Islands Boat Tours operate boat trips to Northumberland’s Farne Islands. I use Serenity exclusively for my Farne Islands photography workshops and also for my own photography. Their boats provide a very stable 360 degree platform which is ideal for photography, expertly skippered of course by my good friends Andrew and Toby Douglas!
