I am an experienced guest speaker and I regularly give illustrated talks and presentations to a wide range of audiences including camera clubs, wildlife interest groups, festivals, events and to just about anybody who is interested!
In the past, I have presented photography talks at The UK Photography Show at Birmingham NEC, Sheffield Halam University, Cumbria University, WWT Martin Mere, Edinburgh Photographic Society, Great North Museum: Hancock and many more.
Over the last couple of years while events have been limited due to lockdowns and social distancing measures, I have done a number of talks via Zoom and Facebook Live with FUJIFILM UK, Park Cameras and Ffordes Photographic.
If you’d like to discuss a possible event, please feel free to contact me.
Here is my current schedule of arranged talks. Please contact the event location if you wish to attend as a visitor / guest.
An opportunity to hear about the making of the documentary film, Seabirds in the City. Starting with the story of the Tyne Kittiwakes, the film looks at the rise of urban kittiwake populations in Northern Europe, what they tell us about environmental change and how cities are learning to adapt to species on the move. The event will showcase the research behind the documentary, and offer a chance to hear from the filmmakers and see the film trailer. It will appeal to anyone interested in urban wildlife, seabirds, and climate change. The event is sponsored by the ESRC Festival of Social Science.
Doors will open at 5:30pm. Refreshments and a bar will be available.
Free tickets are available via the Eventbrite website. More information about the Seabirds in the City documentary is available on our dedicated website – www.seabirdsinthecity.com.
